book your introThe point is not to find your one perfect class. It is to begin discovering what your body responds to.
Am I experienced enough?
Absolutely. Maru welcomes all levels of experience, from those stepping onto a mat for the first time to seasoned practitioners looking to deepen their practice. Our classes range from foundational and slower-paced movement to more physically demanding, advanced offerings. Each class is designed with intention, and our instructors encourage you to explore your own capabilities while honoring where you are. Movement is a lifelong practice of discovery. You don't need to arrive anywhere to begin.
Which classes are heated?
Every heated class is labeled as heated on the class schedule.
What if I have an injury?
Please contact the studio and speak with your teacher before class so we can help you find the right fit for that day.
What should I bring?
Water, comfortable movement clothes, and a personal sweat towel for heated classes. Mats and towels are available, each for a $3 rental fee.
Where do I park?
Maru has a parking lot on site with ample space.
What if I'm late?
Once class begins, doors are locked and late entry isn't permitted — this protects the shared experience for everyone already in the room.
At Maru, movement is more than exercise. It is a way to build strength, flexibility, meet discomfort, regulate, recover, and stay in relationship with yourself. Our classes move across disciplines so your practice can change as you do.
Maru is designed as more than the hour you spend in class. Arrive, move, connect. A shared space for practice, conversation, learning, and the small rituals that make us want to return.
